We are looking for a Finance Planning & Accounting Manager to join our Romanian branch.

POSITION PURPOSE :

  • Manage FP&A local activities and drive interaction with local and regional stakeholders
  • Provides support & analysis to Senior Management and ensure data quality for strategic planning, budget, projections, and actual performance
  • MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    FP&A activities

  • Perform PnL (NS, COGS, DPE, GM, Opex, Pretax Earnings) reviews, analysis, commentary, dashboard
  • Liaison with Operations for Budget preparation : assumptions, prices, rebates, clawback, cost volumes
  • Prepare Cash flow development & submission and BUC Exposure
  • Perform Cost Center Assessments (Product PnL)
  • Prepare periodical business reviews presentations
  • Prepare Hyperion Upload (budget and projections) & Reconciliation
  • RPM update co-ordination
  • Support the Business with Brand Plan, Strategic Plan, Projections & Budget, sales & expenses, patient models, etc.
  • Support Medical & HR departments with financial analysis
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for business development, productivity initiatives, pricing request & corporate initiatives
  • Participate in CEE FP&A, supply calls, ESMP, RPM, calls and projects
  • Collaborate with Country Controller to ensure accurate reconciliation between statutory and management accounting; perform periodical reconciliations between the two GAAPs.
  • Other activities

  • Provides an effective internal and external customer centric organization
  • Be the primary contact for all local FP&A activities both for Romania market based stakeholders and for regional / global teams
  • Support the Finance Director (FD) to provide a superior professional process, and establish a framework for financial reporting to the business.
  • Support the FD in partnering with local business management to focus on and to support business priorities
  • Manage relationships with above-market FP&A functions ensuring relevant data and analysis are being delivered.
  • Understand business evolution, strategy and requirements and assess implications for FP&A systems and processes
  • Review FP&A performance metrics, help identify opportunities for improvement and work with FD and other finance and business partners to drive sustained improvement.
  • Work closely with regional organizations on improvement of processes.

  • Actively seeks the opinions and perspectives of individuals with different backgrounds, during key decision making
  • Actively keep a communication line with pears in other markets / regions (attend regional meetings, projects, trainings etc)
  • Provide relevant trainings to the teams
  • Work on projects independently or as team leader
  • Promptly report knowledge (initial or follow-up) of any adverse event associated with a BMS product within 24 hours or one business day of becoming aware of the event, in accordance with BMS Company procedures
  • Any other tasks requested on an ad hoc base by the FD
  • Required Skills

  • Finance and Accounting background : local accounting standards and US GAAP;
  • Extensive understanding of Financial Systems, Financial Analysis and Reporting Processes.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Analysis, Budgets and Reporting field (FP&A)
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Proactive approach, able to work on own initiative and without close supervision
  • Systematic, methodical approach with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, confidence in dealing with people at all levels both locally, regionally and globally
  • PPT and Excel proficiency
  • Experience utilizing SAP or similar multi-dimensional financial reporting tools, minimum exposure 2 years.
