Honeywell EDI team is commissioned to ensure that customers ofHoneywell experience world class interactions with world classsystems / processes.
The team leverages the base SAP ERP system deployed throughthe Common Process / System (CP / S) group and extends applications / processes thatcan be directly leveraged by our customers.
So, whatwill you actually be doing?
Your responsibility will be to act as the technical expert and todesign, develop and deploy solutions and analysis of Electronic DataInterchange (EDI) interfaces from internal and external partners ofHoneywell.
You will have to work closelywith the various internal and external stakeholders, their clearinghouses andother EDI partners to address configuration needs as well as resolve productionissues.
This position serves as the single point of contact for all technicalinquiries regarding EDI operations.
Key areaof responsibilities
Designs an appropriate workflow for a specific system
Work together with Internal and external stakeholders as needed to set up an electronic interface. Responsible for testing, certifying’ and post production support
Assists with establishing, maintaining and monitoring all system and data integration activities with internal and external partners
Understands customer requirements, conducts detailed technical design, and determine level of effort & implementation approach
Facilitate customer meetings to discuss technical aspects of the solution and present appropriate technical solutions that balance the client requirements with technical goals around performance, scalability, extensibility and maintainability
You musthave :
Solid experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), working with EDI Standards (x12, EDIFACT, etc)
Expertise on platform such as IBM B2Bi or on SAP / ERP Order Management
SAP EDI working knowledge and technical experience with SAP, SFDC, Web Services, etc.
We value :
Track-record of successful SAP EDI customers implementations covering OM transactions, either as a team member or consultant
Experience with Cloud Hosted Applications would be added advantage
Experience with specifications, development and testing of EDI mapping work for OM
Understanding core transactions that are part of the EDI footprint : inbound orders; outbound order acknowledgement, ASN, and invoice
Understanding Business / Branding requirements in relation to establishment of SAP org structure and impact on customer / enveloping setup
