The Procurement Team Leader will ensure the effective performance for NPR (Non Product Related) functions within the region or countries assigned and the achievement of service delivery requirements.
He / she is responsible for managing and negotiating international agreements, lead the governance of global contracts and define as well as drive sourcing strategies.
Providing guidance to the team based on management direction;
Managing individual performance and people development through the PMP process;
Promoting Teamwork within and amongst teams;
Assessing staff training needs and encouraging compliance of training requirement for each level as part of the employee development program;
Ensuring that the team has all the hours, materials, accesses and resources in place on a day to day basis to meet all its service commitments;
Being accountable for the smooth delivery of local and global administration and procurement processes, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
Escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team to the Head of Operations;
Acting as 2nd level of issue escalation and leading the effectiveness of the processes trough identification of areas for continuous improvement, providing input and information to achieve problem resolution.
1st Degree or equivalent essential;
Post Graduate or further Degree;
Preferable 2-3 years in a similar role with team leadership experience;
Excellent oral and written knowledge of English;
Any other European language at fluent level would be an asset;
Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to form and maintain relationships easily;
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
