IoT Delivery Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality of complex technology solutions with a mix of IT and Telco components, preferably in the mobile telecommunication space and an orchestration role as the interface to Sales and Technology Operations teams and by using Vodafone tools to manage and report on deliveries vs SLAs, whilst working with suppliers to review performance.
Drive Improvements on the onBoarding Process. Identify possibilities to automate and simplify tasks.
Own the IoT Customer onBoarding Process E2E and SPOC for IoT onBoarding stakeholders
Leading the technical On-Boarding and delivery technical activities, from on-boarding to delivery and troubleshooting.
Own the technical assurance for all aspects of the network delivery On-Boarding process, quality control of network design documents.
Analyse, validate the solution design documentation from IOT Line of Business, determining the technical components needed to address the customer demand while ensuring consistency with the defined IOT architecture strategy
Creation of APN scripts on GGSN nodes.
Creation of IPSec configurations on Cisco and Juniper devices & Route Targets on MPLS nodes & Creation of Firewall rules.
Deliveries against SLA including triggering relevant actions.
Delivery and interpretation of supplier progress reporting.
Incorporation of new product features into repeatable delivery processes aligning with IOT architecture strategy.
Project delivery escalation management.
Proven experience in developing / evolving, and / or supporting architecture and designs using several of the following building blocks used in IoT Core Network (HLR / SMSC / GGSN / AAA / DIAMETER / PCRF), BSS Systems
Excellent communication, stakeholder management skills and experience with difficult customers
Excellent technical skills in Core Network, IT and / or support systems architecture & design for mobile telecoms networks as well as enterprise IT, internet, mobile and / or communications technology (2G, 3G, 4G)
Experience of technical project delivery within a mobile and / or fixed telecommunications environment.
Knowledge and experience of fixed IP and mobile network technologies
Time Management skills Ability to prioritize requests in a highly interactive, international and customer driven environment
A track record in identifying, influencing and negotiating with key decision makers
ITIL certifications, PMP / Prince2 would be a bonus
