To build, operate and support 24*7 public cloud infrastructure services and technology solutions for European wide Vodafone applications and customers.
To design, plan and implement a growing set of public cloud platforms used to provide mission critical infrastructure services to Vodafone customers.
To constantly analyse, optimise, reduce costs and migrate and transform the global Vodafone legacy IT infrastructure environment into cloud ready & cloud native solutions.
Act in a consultative manner to assist markets and group functions to understand Public cloud capabilities and offerings.

Manage project driven integration and day-to-day administration of public cloud solutions into the group datacentre (GDC)
Driving public cloud solution automation and integration activity for Cloud Providers like AWS, Azure etc. and Tenant (Project) workloads.
Build and deploy public cloud infrastructure by using cloud formation scripts and templates.
Develop Ansible and Python scripts for infrastructure automation like user creation , security hardening , etc.
Migrate existing on-premises applications to public cloud.
EC2, ECS and VPC operations activities in AWS & Azure cloud.
Storage allocation and maintenance in AWS & Azure by using S3, EBS, Glacier, Azure Storage block blob, Azure Storage disk & Azure Data box.
Deploying and resizing of EC2, Azure virtual machine instances on live running environments.
Manage ELBs and Elastic IPs.
Support and deploy direct connect network between AWS and datacentre.
Provide on-call support for public cloud infrastructure services 24x7.
Consult and develop public cloud knowledge and expertise within the organisation.
Troubleshoot datacentre to public cloud network connectivity, routing issues and security group problems, etc.
Troubleshoot EC2 instances performance, capacity issues, etc.
Support the establishment of DevOps culture and methodologies within the GDC organisation
Providing professional technical consultancy and support to all Cloud-related programmes and existing environments
With these skills, you are a great candidate :
Profound Cloud Technology, Network, Security and Platform Expertise (AWS, Azure, Google).
Expertise in AWS cloud services like VPC, EC2, ECS, S3, EBS, Glacier, ELB, Elastic IPs, etc. Azure cloud services like Azure vm’s & images, AKS, ACS, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, Azure storage, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway etc.
Expertise in automation and workflow like Cloud formation templates, Ansible scripts and Python scripts, terraform, cloud formation.
Demonstrable knowledge in setting up VPCs and creating new environment in AWS cloud.
Extensive knowledge in monitoring, troubleshooting Linux / Unix, Windows, Apache and network services.
Expertise in troubleshooting TCP, Subneting, routing, NAting, etc.
Expertise in managing backup and restore in public cloud environments.
Working experience with AWS service Lambda.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Degree in IT (any), 3 years of experience in cloud computing or 5 years in enterprise IT.
Adapt in ITIL, SOX and security regulations.
2+ years public cloud infrastructure skills.
Experience with Web applications and Web hosting skills.
Experience with DevOps concept in public cloud environment.
Work experience using Agile principal’s infrastructure / cloud operations.
Working experience in managing highly business critical environments.
AWS architect / operations associate certification with experience preferred.
