Key responsibilities :
Territory development and appointment of new distributors in developing markets
Day to day liaison and management of national and international distributors in assigned territories
Measure and monitor distributors to ensure they meet Delphi Technologies, Hartridge commercial objectives and technical standards
Business development with existing and new customers
Commercial telephone support of customers using appropriate diligence
Attendance at trade events at national and international levels
Fully accountable to the company’s sales and marketing strategy
Regular internal and overseas travel to manage customers, identify leads and close sales
Develop specific annual sales budget and related sales actions for given markets and customers following where available the objectives of a business plan
Experience Required :
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Proven record of delivering exceptional customer experience.
Ability work independently and remotely as part of the sales & distribution team to define and execute business strategy and tactics
Ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of internal and external organisations
A self-starter, with an ability to work with minimal supervision
A full understanding of what it means to sell capital equipment of a highly technical nature
Ability to negotiate and close sales
Flexible approach to working under own initiative and as part of a team.
Ability to travel both domestic and overseas, sometimes at short notice, and for periods of up to two weeks at a time.
Ability to speak English plus an additional language (Hungarian, Romanian)
PC Literate (Microsoft office) and CRM systems.
Preferred experience :
Problem solving with a pro-active approach.
Understanding of commercial terms.
Diesel Fuel injection knowledge
