GCS Recruitment are searching to employ a German Speaking Account Manager who will be working with an International software company in Malta.

The chosen individual will be responsible for all growing sales and revenue within the company.

The responsibilities include :

  • Identifying revenue opportunities within prospects and customers’ communities.
  • Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within our establishing partners.
  • Ensuring suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Generating qualified leads and sales opportunities by prospecting, cold calling and following up with inbound inquiries (phone, web visits / downloads, tradeshows, seminars etc.).
  • Actively contribute to sales revenue generation.
  • Identifying and closing additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities through account management.
  • Liaising with Pre-Sales Engineering, Support, Field & Channel Sales and Marketing.
  • Engaging in technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrations, as well as presentations.
  • Achieving measurable goals and sales quotas set on a quarterly basis.
  • Remain knowledgeable and informed on adjustments and developments in the B2B infrastructure and virtualisation industries.
  • Requirements :

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a sales role with experience in a B2B and channel environment.
  • Previous sales experience of selling into German or English SMB and Enterprise markets.
  • Experience in Salesforce.com CRM web based tool is an asset.
  • Fluent in written and verbal business level English and German.
  • Knowledge of networks, infrastructure and virtualisation is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, which includes listening, written and verbal.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
