As a Junior Development Chemist , you will conduct formulation, testing of various products, problem-solving, generating written / oral reports, communicating data to customers, and supporting detailed development of formulation practices (DFMEA, design matrices, etc.)!
Key Responsibilities
Considered to be a technical specialist in more than one area of chemistry / coatings technology, you interact with customer technical and engineering organization informally and formally for ongoing project work and new product launches.
Application of root cause analysis and the use of Sigma Logic (i.e. design of experiments) methodology to lead resolution of manufacturing and field issues.
Involved in training and career development of other team members, along with oversight of 5S protocols.
Qualifications
A bachelor or master’s degree in chemistry or equivalent
Minimum proven track record of formulating in the chemical industry, for instance gained during traineeships.

A curiosity about innovative coating technologies.
Outstanding interpersonal with strong communication
Proficient English
Strong data administration skills and analytics and the ability to generate and discern reliable data, including communicating technical reports.
