Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated BI and Analytics Tableau Designer working in Bucharest, Romania and part of North American IT Solution Delivery team , to work with business users to design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions that support business requirements.
The role reports on the progress of system development projects, and ensures that those projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods, and procedures.
The role is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all relevant deliverables and system solutions for all assigned initiatives, while identifying and developing process and solution improvement opportunities and serves as a subject matter expert for these solutions for specified functional areas, divisions, tools, or other defined domains.
The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of MC GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to the BI & Analytics Team Leader in Bucharest.
The Responsibilities WHAT is to be delivered :
Directly perform the design, development, deployment, and transition of BI and Analytics solutions to address business requirements, typically on our largest, most complex, most strategic initiatives, or on those initiatives involving the adoption of new technologies.
Design, develop, test, and deploy BI and Analytics solutions to satisfy business needs and requirements within designated domain(s).
Focus more on design than on development and delivery, especially in periods of high demand. Perform more hands-on development in periods of low demand.
Lead design efforts when multiple designers are involved.
Provide technical leadership and serve as the subject matter expert in designated functional and geographic domains, sharing that knowledge as needed to enable others, including 3rd parties, to design, develop, and deploy solutions within our global BI and Analytics environment.
Serve as a subject matter expert in designated BI and analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Engage to fill critical gaps on projects, to respond quickly to crises, to help put troubled projects back on the right track, and to serve as a point of escalation for the support (Run) team.
Through hands-on delivery roles on projects and in other ways (training, networking, participation in user groups, etc.
build relationships with users, and acquire knowledge of additional tools and functional / geographic domains. Drive for continuous improvement and standardization in designated domains.
Provide backfill to other Designers as needed.
Document all solutions for future reference and transition to support.
Provide support to business report owners and expert users.
The Qualifications HOW we expect the employees to work :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, which might be substituted with additional experience
3 Years experience in Tableau designing
2 years experience in BI & Analytics applications and programming languages (SAP Business Objects, Power BI, sql)
You are deadly serious about results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering
At least one full life-cycle system implementation experience with Tableau, or at least three full life-cycle major system change initiatives, serving in a hands-on role involving Business Intelligence or Analytics solutions.
Experience estimating resource needs for either small (under $100K), medium, or large (over $10M) projects (in USD or equivalent).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Very good command of English language.
Bachelor’s science degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, IT or a related discipline
Professional training, accreditation, or certification in select Business Intelligence or Analytics
Experience in Waterfall / Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodologies & frameworks and related tools (eg. Jira)
Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (vendors)
Three full life-cycle system implementation experiences, or five full life-cycle major system change initiatives, serving in a hands-on role involving Business Intelligence or Analytics solutions.
Oversight of 1-5 indirect reports, particularly oversight of the design of BI / Analytics solutions.
Requires understanding of how the assigned duties integrate in the team / sub-function and how they contribute to the overall objectives of the area.
BI and Analytics Designers must understand full business processes that their respective solutions support, including integration points through various business sub-functions and system applications.
For example, a BI and Analytics Designer implementing solutions for the sales function must understand the full order-to-cash process, including integration points through front-line sales, back-office sales, credit, sourcing of product, warehousing, delivery to customer, billing, collections, cash application, and disputes, particularly for any part of that process enabled by business intelligence / analytics solutions.
BI and Analytics Designers possess advanced knowledge and skillsets with respect to in-demand technologies. These technical skillsets tend to command a premium in the marketplace.
BI and Analytics Designers must possess advanced knowledge and hands-on technical skills in one or more of the following Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions : Core SAP BW (back-end / front-end), BEx, Business Objects, Java, Tableau, Power BI.
