You will be a member of our core architect team, providing technical leadership for the EngageOne software offerings which provide mission-critical solutions to our global customers.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience of a broad range of QA technologies, approaches and processes, together with excellent interpersonal and team working skills.

Remote working is offered although you must be able to attend Bielsko-Biala when required.

Precisely is seeking a QA Architect to provide technical leadership for its automation testing. The successful candidate in this role will act as a thought leader for QA automation and best-practices across the EngageOne line of business.

A successful candidate will be highly skilled in modern testing techniques and tools and be able to provide guidance on approaches, new tools and techniques for all QA resources within the organisation.

Responsibilities :

The QA Architect will own the quality assurance approach for :

Test automation

Test strategy

Tool recommendation

To achieve success this role will require the proven ability to :

Mentor QA staff across multiple geographies to increase knowledge of modern approaches.

Successfully guide and implement highly automated approaches to QA.

Support and review automation script development to ensure best practices are being followed.

Recommend new tools, techniques and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.

Collaborate with agile development teams to align long term strategies for testing and automation.

Develop an automation strategy to support regression testing for new and existing solutions.

Be able to communicate effectively at multiple levels including QA contributors, stakeholders and senior management.

You have :

Experience of Cloud and On-Premise QA and strong automation skills.

Knowledge of Java and a scripting language (Python preferred).

Extensive knowledge of best-of-breed QA tools.

UI and API level test automation expertise.

Experience with web service technologies such as XML, REST, SOAP.

Experience in a high volume, high throughput web / e-commerce environment.

Experience of working with agile (scrum) teams.

Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing, enhancing and creating automation testing frameworks.

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.

Experience of performance testing and the ability to provide tuning recommendations where appropriate.
