About the role :

As an Cloud Solution Architect , you will have experience in customer facing roles and success in leading in-depth technical architecture discussions with IT management, and developers to ensure Azure is an enabler for the success of customer projects.

You will support business growth through :

  • Empower customers in their Azure adoption journey, helping them to define strategy, architecture, implementation and optimisation of their cloud projects on Azure.
  • Perform hands-on activities supporting the customer in evaluating solutions via proofs of concept and pilots.
  • Apply technical knowledge to architect solutions that meet business, IT, Regulation and Compliance needs.
  • Ensure that solutions implement best practice using the Well Architected Framework.
  • Be the customer's voice back into Microsoft, sharing insights, asks and best practices, connecting with Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the Azure roadmap.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and Microsoft stakeholders to develop state of the art Enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms.
  • Coordinate technical resources that may be required to deliver business outcomes.
  • Continual investment in your own learning and skills development.
  • What You'll Bring to the Role :

  • Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior technology executives in large government agencies.
  • Stakeholder management. Experience managing various stakeholder relationships to find consensus on solutions.
  • Customer Focus. Known and trusted by your customers for always putting their priorities first, for your reliability, and your credibility.
  • Value Realization. Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and successfully implement technology solutions to accomplish those outcomes in a manner that always exceeds expectations.
  • Trusted Technical Advisor. Ability to build strong relationships with senior security stakeholders and quickly build credibility.
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with Azure or a similar cloud service.
  • The technical aptitude and experience to learn new cloud technologies and understand relevant cloud market trends.
  • Competitive Landscape : Knowledge of leading cloud platforms.
  • Partners : Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
  • Breadth of technical infrastructure experience with subject matter expertise in multiple Azure solution areas.
  • 4+ years project management experience.
  • 4+ years technical sales experience
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure).
  • Fluent English language knowledge
