This position is for a ProductManager, in Oracle’s Communications Business Unit, responsible for all aspectsof the product lifecycle for a smart ecosystem solution which includes a corenetwork and integration with numerous other products and applications. As theProduct Manager, you will work closely with the Product Management, Sales,Marketing and Development teams and other business stakeholders to manage anddrive the development of the product(s) to deliver high value customer features.You will be involved in all parts of the product lifecycle, from researchingbusiness problems, developing business cases, assisting with go-to-marketstrategy and managing a multi-year product roadmap. You will also beresponsible for juggling long term product priorities and short term customerrequirements.
·Product roadmap ownership
·Product business case and P&L responsibility
·Manage PLM revenue forecast and overall expense tracking
·Release definition for major, minor and maintenance productreleases
·Manage customer requests for features and prioritize forroadmap inclusion
·Serve as an escalation point for sales and customer issues
·Provide sales communications and training on productfeatures
·Collaborate with sales consulting team to provide newfeature content information
·Collaborate with Market Insights team on market sizinganalysis in support of annual planning process
·Help define and execute the go-to-market strategy whichincludes partnering with other Oracle business units and external partners toensure a complete technical and commercial solution can be sold.
·Other product management responsibilities may includecontract term reviews, supporting Oracle and Industry events, customermeetings, product and marketing document creation and reviews etc.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an understanding ofbusiness
·2-4 years experience as a Product Manager, Product Analyst,or Product Owner
·Experience with wireless (2G/3G/4G/5G) standards or familiaritywith telecommunications systems would be extremely useful.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
