Transform raw material into finished product through the start-up, operation, and shutdown of area machines and other related production equipment of intermediate technology and / or manufacturing processes such as manual or high speed assembly in accordance with safety regulations, quality initiatives, lean techniques and other principles as documented in Panduit’s operating system and manufacturing procedures to meet customer service deliverables.
The Production Operator II further responsibilities include performing set-up, troubleshooting and assisting in training less experienced employees to equipment of basic technology and / or manual assembly processes

Essential Responsibilities :
Set-up & troubleshoot area machines and related production equipment and processes of basic technology. May operate high speed assembly equipment.
Perform manual assembly processes as needed to produce finished product. Complete packaging, labeling, and cartooning of products to include label accuracy, package seal integrity, and counts per package and carton (occasional manual packaging and re-
packaging of product). Transport supplies and finished product throughout the manufacturing process to various staging, inspection, processing, and shipping locations.
Use Panduit Oracle operating system to enter, monitor and track manufacturing information. Assist in training and development of less experienced employees.
Work towards cost reduction goals
May be involved in resolving quality issues that occur in production and communicate quality issues to appropriate supervision and / or quality personnel by completing area appropriate form(s)
