A Day in the Life

As Therapy Development Specialist, you will beresponsible for providing technical support to customers during procedures,implement education programs and strengthen relationship network to furtherdevelop and support Neurosurgical and ENT therapies in Romania and Bulgaria.

This will be accompanied by sales of a range of Medtronic high quality productsin Neurosurgery and Ear Nose Throat businesses, you will also develop andmaintain a network of accounts to support and expand the utilization of devicetherapies, diagnostics and monitoring for the disease management according tocurrent and future guidelines.

Your daily responsibility will involve liaisingwith our Key Customers, maintaining relations with distributors, and focusingon sales of Medtronic products in accordance with company programs and instructions.

In this role you will also be present in OR-s (Operating Rooms), making sureour products and solutions are properly installed, understood and utilized bythe medical staff, proving their full potential and efficiency in saving orimproving patients’ lives :

  • Troubleshoot (remotely and on-site) with Customers (e.g. Surgeons,Operating Room personnel and biomedical staff etc ) and with distributors.
  • Provide on-site technical service, clinical support, training andinstallations.
  • Handle complain calls from Regulatory and Business perspective.
  • Support and train sales team.
  • Promote service offering.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up communications with internal and externalcustomers to ensure resolution. DriveService deals with customers in order to create a new revenue stream
  • Sell products and complete solutions for Neurosurgery,Ear, Nose and Throat portfolio; set up proper business strategies with maximumprofitability, to ensure proper spending and effectiveness.
  • Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence ofdefined therapies demonstrating improved patient outcomes. Foster brand loyaltyby selling Medtronic products, therapies and services which enable referringphysicians to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all decisionmakers relevant to product groups in hospitals in the territory.
  • Carryout all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely anddiligent manner. Attend all required regional and national meetings.
  • Must Haves :

  • University Degree (preferably Technical / Engineering field).
  • In the field" medical devices technical service and supportexperience.

  • Proven track record of experience in sales in medical devices industry.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in the field of Medical Devices.
  • Experience in working effectively with sales force, physicians, nursesand hospital technicians, as well as with distributors.
  • Sound Account Management skills.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Romanian andEnglish (Bulgarian will be an advantage).
  • Consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Competency to build strong business relationship with customers.
  • Ability to quickly prioritize jobs under pressure andanticipate the changing needs of customers.
  • Desire to win with a drive on results.
  • Collaborative, ethical, highly motivated and good communicator.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the markets asrequired by the business.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Nice to Haves :

  • Experience in clinical and technical service and support in OperatingRoom.
  • Experience in running installation and users trainings.
