Job Description

Offers technical support for product, maintains close collaboration with other areas product related (Production, Quality, Purchasing, etc.).

Support for production colleagues in interpreting correctly the drawings.

Support for departments in understanding BOM (materials list).

Evaluation of defect parts after PVT / DVT tests and of deviations from series production related to parts.

Risk assessment evaluations.

Support for new products / variants / changes implementation.

Change Management coordination.

Training / information rounds regarding new changes to product behaviour.

Evaluation and creation of test plans for changes (PVT / DVT) and offers support in test results analysis to the testing responsible.

Participation in reviews from QGC (Quality Gates Customer).

Direct link to development department in lead plant / lead engineering group.

Drives failure investigation tasks in his / her area of responsibility.

Adding solutions to existing standards and optimizing.

Coordinate / supervise sub-areas with multiple functions and link.

Qualifications

3-5 years experience

Technical drawing knowledge

Experience in the automotive industry

Experience in automotive industry as design engineer and related processes, geometric and statistical tolerance is an asset

Experience with the problem solving methodology (PS) and the 8D method

Change management and change requests (ECR)
