UNIX-based Datacenter and Cloud infrastructures support and improvement
Responsibilities
Support, monitoring and deploy production and infrastructure servers and services
Update and security patching production and infrastructure servers and services
Support local infrastructure servers (bare metal, ESXi)
L3 users support (Linux workstation)
Automated software configuration with SaltStack
Must have
Linux deployment, support and troubleshooting (Debian / Ubuntu, RedHat / CentOS preferred)
Understanding of Linux kernel (can build custom core)
Understanding of Linux networking stack
VMware VSphere - middle level (deploy VM from template, migration, snapshots etc.)
Understanding of TCP / IP stack
Experience with various UNIX-based services like Nginx / php-fpm / Apache / Tomcat, Haproxy / Keepalived, FTP / sFTP / TFTP, Bind / DHCP, Syslog / logrotate etc.
Prometheus, Grafana (any modern monitoring)
SaltStack
Understanding GitLab / Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence as user
Ansible
Hashicorp stack (Terraform, Vagrant, Packer, Consul etc)
OpenStack, Windows Azure Pack, other on-premise Cloud solutions
Docker / Kubernetes
NextCloud / OwnCloud / Seafile
