Your Role Business Development Manager is responsible to develop new as well as maintain existing business with Romania key accounts within Contract Logistics.

This position will evaluate the national market regarding potential customers and opportunities with substantial requirements for Contract Logistics.

  • Your Responsibilities Meet and exceed personal and country / regional new business revenue goals;Develop strong opportunity pipeline for sales opportunities;
  • Work on RFQ / RFP written responses;Build relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for Kuehne & Nagel Contract Logistics to create value;
  • Marshall the resources within Kuehne & Nagel to capitalize on value creation opportunities;Work closely with this team to develop creative solutions to customer needs;
  • Cross-sell Kuehne & Nagel suite of services;Organize regular meetings with the client and relevant operations staff to report on performance and receive an update from client on challenges and future plans;
  • Prepares market analysis and continuously evaluates company relevant information;Reports in accurate and compliant way;Cooperates with other company entities in the region and worldwide.

  • Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics is an advantage;Minimum 3 years of warehousing / logistics / supply chain experience is mandatory;
  • Excellent knowledge and market overview of warehousing / contract logistics sector in Romania is mandatory; Proven ability and experience in developing and closing new business opportunities;
  • Good proficiency of English language skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;Strong communicator and negotiator;
  • Excellent understanding and focus on customer requirements;Strong commercial acumen.
