Sales Representative Traditional Trade (Field), Iasi, Romania

Focus on Traditional Trade, location : Iasi

Hybrid work : on average 3 days in field (in region), 2 days at home (remote virtual)


  • Maintain and develop customer relationships; create value through consultative sales
  • Plan for retention and growth of assigned customers (in the sales territory)
  • Communicate effectively with office team (to offer great customer support)
  • Develop technical expertise and knowledge of Stanley Black & Decker strategic products and product lines
  • Provide market information and feedback
  • Ensure proper merchandising implementation at customers in cooperation with Team Leader, Customers and Marketing department
  • Control the activities of distributors (such as level of orders for stores, the availability of goods offered and the level of services)
  • Actively cooperate and coordinate activities linked to distributors’ representatives
  • Prepare and submit commercial offers and support the active promotion of the products (e.g. product presentations, product trainings, etc.)
  • Implement established sales plans and other tasks related to customers
  • Resilience when facing rejection
  • Requirements

  • Higher education (or equivalent through experience)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role (in traditional market)
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Romanian : fluent level, English : communicative
  • Interest to work in a technical Industry
  • Strong focus on customers and on results and achieving goals; drive
  • Systematic, well organized and committed
  • Self-motivated, flexible and strong team player
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Driving license B
