The Data Quality Coordinator manages the operational processes of Data Quality (DQ) Framework of the whole bank through definition and implementation of data quality checks and controls, monitoring of data quality, data quality issues management.
He / she contributes, together with Data Governance Manager to the implementation, recurrent re-assessment, improvement and calibration of the Data Quality Framework.
Supports the Data Governance Manager in design, maintenance and implementation of the Data Quality Framework, with focus on the data warehouse flows ;
Periodically conducts Tests of Effectiveness for the Data Quality Framework;
Performs complex data quality analyses in order to identify trends, root causes, correlations and opportunities for improvement;
Supports Data Definition Owners, Data Stewards, Data Owners and Business Analysts in properly defining DQ rules;
Supports introduction / usage of Data Quality tooling on data and operational systems;
Continuously monitors the Data Quality across the bank, by following DQ checks / controls and reacting to alarm thresholds or worsening trends
Designing and maintaining Quality dashboards and prepare periodical DQ reports
Follow-up on corrective and preventive actions as per priorities established by the relevant Data Management forum
What brings to the team
Good understanding of general banking environment and ING Banking products, services and operational flows;
Good stakeholder management skills;
Previous experience in Data Quality Management or Business Process Management
Data Warehouse knowledge would be a plus
Risk / Finance knowledge around Basel II & III requirements is a plus
Experienced user of Microsoft Office package (Excel and Power Point are a must).
Analytical thinking, able to work under pressure, capable to meet certain deadlines
