As an Area Capacity Engagement Lead (ACEL) , you will utilize your relationship management capability working with international colleagues across multiple organizations and leaders within MCS to drive impact.

Your communication, collaboration and facilitation skills will be enhanced as you influence resourcing and capacity decisions.

Lead Function

  • Collaborate with Customer Resource Managers (CRM) in effectively leveraging services and partner resources within and across domains, time zones, and when necessary the areas to fulfill customer demand within agreed upon SLAs
  • Work collaboratively with SBO leaders and actively participate as a member of the SBO MCS team.
  • Stakeholder engagement

  • Act as a central point of contact for the TZ & AREA leadership stakeholders into SBO and the broader Business Excellence and Operations (BEO) organizations, helping connect leadership to the right resources, and leading communication and change management efforts in support of capacity functions.
  • Area Capacity Planning / Forecast

  • Collaborate across the SBO team matrix in support of TZ / AREA capacity needs, partnering closely with Finance and Domains organizations in support of capacity health and complex staffing needs.
  • Provide support to the TZ / AREA delivery leadership team and successfully land capacity demand planning, Budget and Quarterly Forecast deliverables
  • Collaborate with diverse set of stakeholders in Areas, Multi-sub areas, subsidiaries on delivery planning with Finance and BEO counterparts and ensure an integrated plan is built between Areas and domains on demand and capacity for MCS Business.
  • Capacity and Staffing Insights

  • Drives clarity of TZ & Area capacity trends and outlooks by presenting to the AREA stakeholders and plugging into their business Rhythms.
  • Provides forward looking business visibility based on insights trends and analysis, proactively identifying risks or challenges in staffing that may impact business deliverables.

    Escalation Management

  • Facilitate resolution of complex staffing scenarios and escalations within the TZ / AREA that have significant impact on Internal and External customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with TZ / AREA GPO, Domain and BEO resources to drive resolution of staffing and capacity challenges.
  • Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates should have 7+ years of experience in areas related to Resource Management. Capacity Management, Planning, Analytics, Finance, Operations, services delivery, etc.
  • Experience managing a team of 5-12 people.
  • Ability to effectively balance and prioritize workloads across team members in a constantly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, and confident in working with Senior Leaders while comfortable working in a matrix organization.
  • The candidate needs to be able to achieve results through influence across multiple organizations.
  • Bachelor’s in business, information technology, Finance, Operations or related field, and / or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge, understanding and or experience of resource management, capacity planning, financial and operational functions of a delivery organization budget, time tracking, optimizing cost, capacity management)
  • Ability to develop strong, productive relationships with colleagues and management to meet targeted objectives.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to define metrics, reports, interpret results, and make recommendations on appropriate courses of action to drive resolution.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, time management, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented with strong capabilities to lead and thrive in start-up type organizations.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate multiple work streams of activities.
  • Future orientation balanced with current state through strategic and systems thinking and a global mindset.
  • Influencing stakeholders to achieve impact through collaboration, presence and strong communication skills.
  • Judgment based scoping of problems by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholders, and outcomes. Applies a broad functional knowledge base to solve problems with confidence and persuades others.
  • Ability to work in environment with ambiguity.
