Qualifications / Requirements
4- 5yrs of experience in related area (category development / management, sales, insight, commercial etc.). Full knowledge of all category management principles and fundamentals, ability to drive category growth through these levers (retailer experience to be considered as well)
Experience in category management, sales and / or marketing and the delivery of long-term insight-led strategy and vision through to the POS.
Significant experience of project management of complex, multi-stakeholder work-streams both internally and externally. Experience in strategic planning processes to deliver insight-led plans that create shopper, category, retailer and PepsiCo advantage (E.
g. Business Planning / Joint Business Planning)
Ability to generate category visions and strategy, through bringing complex data and insight together and managing cross functional inputs
Knowledge of industry leading software & tools to vizualise & drive recommendations (Nielsen, EYC, JDA , virtual store)
Ability to use Data to drive recommendations (Retail Panel / check-out, HH Panel,data sources to generate in-depth shopper, retail, category and consumer insights
Excellent speaker and story-teller, proactive, curious with strong presentation skills (in English as well)
Good strategic thinker, with business acumen Ability to turn the complex into the simple, to cut through and focus on what really matters and tell simple story.
Ability to overcome objections using combination of fact based evidence and influencing skills
Proven influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of stakeholders and effectively engage them to obtain commitment and drive impact.
Ability to set a compelling vision and motivate others to deliver and execute
Very strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect the dots between various data sources to deliver clear outlook scenarios along with implications for the business.
Team player, proven ability to manage a matrix organization, able to build strong relationships with peers and senior management
Able to set priorities
MS Office advanced user (PowerPoint, Excel). CatMan tools expertise as advantage.
