Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Understand and share across the team Customer Network Architecture, HW / SW & Configuration, maintain and update network architecture information on specific customer project
  • Interfacing Technical Project Mgr / Technical Mgr in Market Project team
  • May monitor the set of tickets / work orders received by the functional team, taking corrective action if there is a risk to, or breach of agreed service levels, including through the re-prioritization of work and / or engagement of additional temporary resources
  • Root cause analyses regarding operational tasks
  • Troubleshooting of the issues appeared after the remote implementation of network related services such as : integration, configuration, re-homing
  • Develop solutions for site integration / swap / upgrade for all the RAN technologies 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G for multivendor environment (Huawei / Ericsson)
  • Engagement in planning and integration of infrastructure technologies with the customer-servicing Core Network Voice and Data services, consisting of multi-vendor infrastructure, elements, and platforms
  • Performing the integration of new software, hardware, services and features into the core networks while ensuring highest network availability
  • Integrate and implement services, features and functionality within the core voice and data networks
  • Perform activities related to MSC, MGW, MME, ADM equipment
  • Pilot solution testing, develop industrialization methods and procedures
  • Complex preventive maintenance and software upgrade
  • Support in developing software scripts for task automation
  • Assistance for field staff during various implementation activities, planned works and related troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, advises, and performs corrective and / or preventive actions to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation, update and completion of all tickets, with prompt escalation and notification of incidents during operations as per technical instructions received from both customers and internal management
  • Ensuring that telecom services are delivered within the contractual deadlines
  • Propose / develop / verify / implement new work instructions and any change / evolution related to them
  • Propose improvements to processes
  • Provide trainings / workshops for NI teams
  • Ensure communication of process and procedure changes to key stakeholders and participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Update network documentation and provide handoffs and ensure knowledge transfers
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technologies
  • Previous experience in back office telecom activity is a plus
  • Previous experience in Core Networks
  • Understanding of Mobile Core Networks (GSM, UMTS, LTE / VoLTE), protocols, and IP Networks
  • Previous experience related to multivendor RAN technology (Huawei & Ericsson)
  • Ability to deliver necessary knowledge transfer within the team
  • Ability to work after clear work instructions and under clear timelines
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong MS Office Suite knowledge (Access, Excel, Word)
  • English Level : at least B1 level
  • French Level : at least B1 level
