Support Engineers serve as the first point of contact for Microsoft’s customers and partners via phone, email or web. They deliver unique value by collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality and enhancements and creating self-help assets to broadly reach more customers.

Working as a Technical Engineer Intern for Microsoft was truly empowering!
The internship at Microsoft Romania was my first ever true work experience. Being an engineering student close to finishing studies, gathering true work life experience was essential for the start of my career and I am very happy that Microsoft chose to trust me.
As a Technical Engineer not only I had the opportunity to learn new and exciting stuff, some of which helped me in the final University year, but also to develop myself as a person and to learn how the hidden heroes that keep the IT world running do their job day by day.
After this amazing experience it's no wonder that I decided to remain with Microsoft in it's Aspire Experience Program as a Premier Field Engineer.

What will I do as an Intern?
As an intern you will be trained on our major technologies like Cloud Computing, Operating Systems, Databases and many more.
You will then apply the learnings by shadowing our Technical Experts in solving high complexity technical cases for our customers.
Moreover, you will be attending soft skills trainings, focusing on communication and customer satisfaction.
About Microsoft Customer Service and Support
Our technical engineers work within Microsoft Romania’s Customer Service and Support, which officially launched on February 1st, 2007 by Microsoft’s Chairman Bill Gates.
Today, the center employs more than 600 IT professionals and delivers advanced technical support and services for Microsoft corporate customers, partners and developer communities from all over Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The services center is continuously expanding, building on top of its excellent reputation and the ability to attract the best specialists from Romania.
Importance of the Customer Service and Support (CSS) for Microsoft and its customers
CSS provides advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting and advisories on the most effective use of Microsoft Cloud solutions and services Azure, Office 365) and traditional on premises products Windows, SQL, Networking, Exchange, Skype for Business, Office) for Microsoft’s most important enterprise customers.
The Romanian site is the biggest Microsoft service center of its type in Europe, Middle East and Africa. CSS Romania is part of the Customer Services and Support (CSS) organization in Microsoft, which employs more than 3,000 professionals in EMEA.
