Be part of a new global Data Engineering team that will provide data as a service for both internal purpose and to our customers.

You will be involved in architecture of new data mesh systems and build scalable, robust, and high-quality data onboarding and governance services for our Global data hub by cooperating with varied data producers and consumers, ranging from product, business analytics to data science.


What you’ll be doing :

  • Architecture and suggesting new technologies and tools
  • Perform code reviews and prioritize the requirements for the team, understanding the business needs.
  • Hands-on, E2E responsibility for data processing tools from design to production. Including monitoring and ensuring our SLAs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, data scientists and product managers to support features development on top of the data.
  • Evaluate and deploy new technologies to expand our data tech-stack and support our products requirements
  • What are we looking for?

    Mandatory :

  • Proven experience of more than 5 years with building backend applications
  • Experience with strongly typed programming languages with functional programming features Scala, TypeScript
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with distributed data processing tools and streaming technologies : Spark, Kafka etc.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift or other Cloud technology
  • Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Very nice to have :

  • Proven experience with Kubernetes
  • Proven experience with Data lake solutions such as Snowflake
  • Proven experience with other programming languages (Python, Java, Go )
  • Concept CICD pipelines
  • In a nutshell, passion for programming and not just for a programming language
