At OpsTalent we are looking for a Manual Software Tester for our client, who will work as part of the Customer Success Team .

The role involves triaging, logging, and testing issues that are raised by our customers, in addition to gathering and documenting technical data as required.

We are seeking someone who has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • You must be a competent tester that wants to work on web based SaaS technologies .
  • You will also be required to liaise directly with the customer via the helpdesk ticketing system to help troubleshoot, review, and respond to customer queries and issues.
  • You will work very closely with the development and support teams to ensure quality throughout the software development cycle.
  • While you may not have everything that ticks the requirements below, if you’re a competent tester who wants to grow with a fast-paced company we will work with you to realize all your goals!

    What we require :

  • Degree in software engineering, IT development or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of software testing experience in a structured test environment.
  • Good understanding of the software development process
  • Customer-focused with an understanding of business process
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience with defect tracking systems
  • Experience testing client-server applications
  • Ability to work within a team and give clear concise updates on progress / issues
  • Extras (an advantage)

  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server, SQL Server
  • Experience with stress or performance testing tools
  • Experience dealing directly with customers
