The challenge

Adobe’s Legal and Government Relations Department is looking for an Associate Legal Specialist to join the Global Legal Services team.

The position will be based in our Bucharest office. In this position, you will draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements and work on projects with many different groups in our Legal and Government Relations Department and around the world.

What you’ll do

  • Reviewing, drafting, approving and closing confidentiality agreements, procurement services agreements and other various related actions for the support of these transactions;
  • Review and approval of non-disclosure agreements and collaboration on RFP / RFI documentation.
  • Collaborating with sales, finance and business units as necessary to support revenue and process transactions in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Reviewing standard templates for recurring commercial transactions and learning Adobe’s business model, including legal and business related requirements;
  • Special project assignments, e.g. localization / translation projects; Other duties on request based on the training that will be provided by Adobe.
  • Coordinate between procurement, marketing, sales, finance, and other business functions as necessary to address corporate policies / processes and legal issues as they arise.
  • What you need to succeed

  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Have a mastery of Spanish language (at least B2 level) and additional languages are a plus.
  • Relevant experience handling commercial contracts, preferably for an international technology company is an asset.
  • A bachelor degree in Law is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have knowledge of legal processes and terminology, and must be able to conduct basic legal research.
  • The candidate must be proficient in using MS office applications and quick to learn efficient use of other applications.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to compose correspondence and draft legal documents in an organized manner and in a clear language.
  • Interpersonal skills must include excellent oral and written communication skills and a focus on customer service.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated attention to detail and have a positive, problem solving, business focused attitude with good judgment and able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • The candidate must be a team player and also able to self-start and work independently.
