MSD is looking for a Global Super User for Rapid Response and Comet (SAP / APO) with a deep knowledge of planning systems / technology as well as business processes used for the execution of operations to join our End-
to-End Planning organization located in Lucerne, Switzerland. The Global Super User is primary contact for specific technologies and / or products within an EMEA manufacturing facility or Third Party Tolling partner and represents the team needs in the Community of Practice and project workshops.
Furthermore, the Global Super User will actively support the implementation of system and process changes and implement supply chain initiatives and plans in support of the short and medium term divisional objectives and goals, coordinating between global and site planning.
As a Senior Supply Operations Specialist, you will as well be responsible for meeting inventory targets, maintaining supply to markets and the efficient use of site resources for the manufacture and packaging of both in-
line products as well as new product introductions. Primary activities include, but are not limited to :
Provide support on system / technology design and testing, process design, business adoption, training, change management and trouble shooting
Provide training to the end users, both on system and process and facilitate the adoption, deployment and sustainment of the Global Operating Model, as required
Responsible for developing attainable end-to-end supply plans for products in the assigned portfolio; fulfill inter-site requirements, to meet customer requirements, where necessary
Establish and maintain all planning parameters for products in your portfolio : responsible for active pharmaceutical ingredient, bulk / intermediates and finished drug product
Manage inventory in line with agreed targets and understand the drivers behind significant inventory changes (i.e. specific markets, product developments or trends)
Act as a change agent for new and evolving corporate, regional, and site initiatives for assigned products
Cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders of all EMEA Hub planning teams as well as Global Data CoE, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Product Source Management, , Finance, , Quality, Global Logistics, and Value Chain Team.
University degree, preferably in Supply Chain or another relevant discipline; APICS CPIM or CSCP qualification is preferred
At least 7-8 years of Supply Chain Operations / Management experience; multidisciplinary and manufacturing Supply Chain Management experience is preferred
Excellent SAP R / 3 and APO knowledge and experience within a multinational supply planning organization; related experience with multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces is advantageous
Advanced presentation skills and ability to deliver subject-based training for effective knowledge transfer
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
A strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a multicultural matrix environment
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Good understanding of the volume and capacity-related implications to a site as a whole resulting from product-related issues
Proven ability to translate business needs into system and process design
Demonstrated analytical and logical problem solving abilities; keen driver for process improvement
Flexibility to perform multiple, complex tasks simultaneously to efficiently support the business
Proven ability to function in a dynamic and changing corporate environment
