Brand Manager South Europe Cluster
This role can be based in any of these Sanofi offices : Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Sofia, Tirana, Zagreb.
About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the South Europe Cluster Marketing Head as a Brand Manager for General Medicine strategic therapeutic areas in the South Europe Cluster, you will develop, implement and control marketing plans / long range plans for the concerned products, aimed at maximize market, share and achieve sales objectives.
You will focus on the success of the concerned products, manage the product launch process through effective resource-allocation, maximize product life-
cycles, know how to identify and prioritize resource needs and shift resources, if necessary, in line with the defined business strategy and plans.
Acts as the product champion to motivate the sales force;
Organize local marketing events for the concerned products, building and maintaining relations with key opinion-leaders at the cluster level together with medical department;
Work closely with Customer Engagement and Commercial department;
Ensure marketing support within the organization and collaborate / communicate effectively with sales team and other concerned departments (Medical, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, etc.);
Ensure professional marketing training support for the medical representatives, on concerned products;
Make sure to get external endorsement of the concerned products;
Evaluate and report impact of marketing activities and investment and propose corrective actions;
Ensure correct demand forecasting of the concerned products;
Follow appropriate market research systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations and appropriate control;
Closely collaborate with the Medical, Business Support and Finance departments, on all related products management issues;
Plan cluster marketing investment, according to product priorities, ensuring cost-efficiency at all times and particular focus on advertising and promotion and other controllable expenses, within the agreed budget;
Ensure adequate information and customer support for health care professionals in daily usage of our products and provide product’s expertise within the organization, track, review and circulate latest information on Sanofi and competitors’ products with the objective to maximize products' knowledge and usage, Sanofi image and competitiveness on the market;
Define and follow-up the implementation of marketing strategy for the concerned products.
To excel in this role you will need to have :
Marketing strategy knowledge, strategic analysis and planning, project management;
Excellent English language knowledge and skills (written and oral);
Ability to prioritize; over achieve against set objectives; ability to work on own initiative and make quality decisions; good selling skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills to negotiate, communicate, present, persuade and argument among internal GenMed teams, global functions and external stakeholders.
Essential requirements :
University degree, further business education with specialization in Sales or Marketing and / or medical studies would be an advantage;
More than 3 years commercial / marketing / business operation work experience in pharmaceutical business. Knowledge of cross-
country and cross functional collaboration in a matrix organization is a plus;
Demonstrated ability to understand financial, forecasting, regulatory, legal and human resource topics, business environment and climate;
Able to prospect for / generate new growth opportunities; Numerate and with good analytical skills;
Ability to engage others through active communication; demonstrates a high level drive, passion and ambition for optimal results;
