Role purpose :
Network Operations is being transformed into a single until spanning across entire Europe, with the purpose of monitoring, operating and managing efficiently and effectively our networks, fulfilling the Vodafone strategy and responding to the global technology strategy and local business requirements.
This role sits within the largest country clusters in First Line Operations and is essential to relentlessly execute process and performance analysis in the respective country cluster to identify areas for improvement of quality and efficiency, define appropriate implementation plans together with the cluster manager, and secure perfect and timely execution.
Accountability of this role is also to control, manage and report for the cluster in terms of processes, tools and update and to deliver quality information to the management team.
It is also essential to steer and drive process and tool harmonisation, automatisation and proactive problem management across the entire function.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Problem management. Proactively analyse available data bases to find relevant phenomena and patterns in order to prevent network incidents and avoid adverse customer experience
Simplification, automatisation. Drive process improvement, simplification, harmonisation and automatisation by cooperating with the stakeholders and enabling relevant tool implementations
Operations Excellence reports. Deliver a comprehensive service quality report(weekly, monthly and ad hoc) showing the performance of the country clusters and the related parties
Operations Excellence program : Combine Operations Excellence report with in-depth process, tools and local market requirement knowledge to continuously improve and extend the Operations Excellence programme, in alignment with the respective cluster manager
Core competencies, knowledge and experience max 5 :
Numerical and analytical skills accompanied with ability to translate data into crisp, clear and concise stories up to Executive level both internally and externally (advanced Excel, advanced SQL)
Ability to build reports / charts s from raw data, perform underlying numerical analysis and identify patterns / trend lines / evolution.
Ability to simplify and create transparency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills confidence and professionalism, positive attitude and clear can-do mentality
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Education : Engineering Degree or equivalent, desirable :
multi-cultural / multinational experience,
Excellent English skills written and spoken
SQL, Excel - advanced level
Java, C++, PHP or HTML basic level
International working experience
Country cluster’s major local market language speakers (DE, IT, ES) preferred
Six-Sigma experience & background preferred, but not mandatory
