Your day to day :

The role is responsible to build, develop and continuously improve the Application Operations function within TSSR, supporting various Vodafone verticals, with a focus on Group Technology Delivery & Operations and Group Enterprise Technology (GET), while ensuring the operational quality of service as well as optimal cost of service delivery.

To that extent, the Application Operations Senior Manager is responsible to define the best balanced resource mix for application operations (IoT & UC 1st and 2nd line operations, service integration, operational processes design & management, service management) activities.

The role is responsible to ensure the implementation of scalable processes, delivery performance in-line with the set expectations and continuous development of the workforce.

  • Define and manage the department resourcing skill mix and manage the cost of service delivery by :
  • o Continuous learning & development

    o Consolidation

  • Act as TSS representative towards strategic and operational internal customers
  • Implement / exceed SLA objectives and KPIs for 30+ services
  • Lead & direct teams supporting diverse technology areas
  • With these skills you are a great candidate :

    Education : B.E. / B.TECH, Preferred Post Graduation in Technology / Management or equivalent.

    Business : Exposure to senior international Technology management

    Certifications such as PMP, Prince 2, TOGAF, ISTQB, ITIL Service Design, etc

    Deep understanding of solution lifecycles, from business requirements to deployment and operations

    Experience in establishing new functions within a multi-cultural environment

    Experience in managing large teams and departments and managing managers of managers

    Customer focused

    Ability to work in an international organisation with matrix structure

    Budget management and financial acumen

    Proven track record of optimizing delivery

    Previous technical experience in at least two of the managed areas

    Previous experience on Project & Transition management with methodologies defined in line with PMI. Proven track record of IT Process reengineering.

    Well-developed coordination & leadership skills.
