You will be involved in accounting and reporting tasks. Your Role in a Nutshell :

  • Prepare trial balance and posting manual entries;
  • Review and reconciliation of accounts on a periodic basis;
  • Support team seniors in preparing monthly reporting package of balance sheet & profit and loss according to IFRS or local standards ;
  • gain autonomy on certain processes / areas of reporting;
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis following requests;
  • Take in charge clients & partners (including auditors) requests according to supervisor’s guidelines
  • Participate to solve the teams issues and raise alerts to the Management if case
  • Perform level 1 controls on production tasks;
  • Implement action plan defined jointly with management
  • Participate to resilience by training backups and being trained as a backup
  • Participate to transversal initiatives within the team; originate initiatives inside the team;
  • Timely update internal procedures;
  • Respect internal, security and confidentiality rules
  • Declare any operational risk events occurring and anticipate risks on production
  • Support colleagues in the daily activities.
  • Any other activity requested by the team leader.
  • A little about You :

  • Previous financial experience : accounting or reporting (IFRS knowledge and financial statements drafting and interpretation are a plus);
  • ACCA student is appreciated

  • Good excel knowledge (formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, etc ), Access, VBA is a plus
  • Capacity to investigate and answer to questions independently and in a synthetic manner
  • Team spirit

  • Good communication with the team and counterparties
  • Positive contribution by suggesting improvements to processes and tasks
  • Attention to details
  • Stress resistant able to manage issues under pressure
