Role Overview / Purpose : As part of the CTO Strategy & Optimisation function, we are looking for an exceptional agile minded candidate to lead game-
changing operational improvements for Paddy Power Betfair.
As an optimisation coach, you will partner with teams across Technology to deliver improvements to the way they work with the ultimate goals of accelerating delivery and improving quality.
Utilising your strong understanding of product discovery, you will pro-actively promote an evidence-driven culture of learning across the company in conjunction with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Act as a change champion, using knowledge of our operating model to drive a culture of Continuous Improvement within Technology
Coach teams in product discovery and dual-track agile product development
Optimise, align and improve processes and culture across Technology, coaching teams on user centred design thinking and hypothesis driven development
Partner with Heads of Tribes and Shared Services to drive improvement and to enable the Technology Organisation to achieve its target outcomes
Take charge of demand management, to support Tribe and Shared Services development against the operating model maturity matrix
Guide and mentor multiple teams in the consistent practice of Agile concepts, including roles, ceremonies, processes and tool usage
Provide coaching and mentoring to teams and management on the healthy use of metrics and continuous improvement techniques Behavioural Competencies

Deep, expert-level knowledge of Agile, Lean Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives (as a Coach / SME), and strong experience of overall Agile / Scrum
Background utilising agile / lean software development frameworks (e.g.
Scrum, Extreme Programming, SAFe, Kanban Visualization)
Familiar with Agile delivery toolsets (e.g.
JIRA, Agile Central, TFS, etc)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong facilitation, leadership, and relationship building skills
