Responsibilities :

  • Builds relationships with key staff in the customer organization;
  • Identifies and responds to opportunities for providing products and services to the customer organization;
  • Monitors the level of customer satisfaction, at regular intervals or after each significant delivery of product or service;
  • Carries out assignments, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience. Demonstrates an understanding of the issues of interest to the client organisation and proposes viable solutions;
  • Recognises needs outside own area of knowledge, recognises how these areas relate, requests and works effectively with additional expertise as necessary;
  • Produces high quality deliverables in terms of both content and presentation;
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of current practice within own area of expertise;
  • Monitors and reviews programme economics to include programme costs, operational budgets, staffing, resourcing and programme risks;
  • Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and safe execution of small to medium-scale projects, actively participating in all phases of the project;
  • Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders;
  • Monitors costs, timescales and resources used;
  • Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience;
  • Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned;
  • By contact with prospective customers, prospects for new sales leads;
  • Develops and enhances customer relationships post sales proposals to sustain interest, resolve concerns and negotiate, if necessary, on both commercial and technical issues;
  • Maintains contact with customer organisation to monitor satisfaction with individual sales and general level of service and to initiate any remedial actions required.
  • Requirements :

  • Very good understanding of software delivery life cycle, hands on experience in the past (as senior Dev / SM / Arch / Test);
  • Very good understanding of Agile frameworks (focus on Scrum, SAFE / Less etc are a plus);
  • Continuous Delivery & Integration (Agile integrated sprints rather that agile in waterfall);
  • Good understanding of commercials / financials / contractual aspects of an engagement, both external client facing and internal;
  • Hands-on, offers supports for team members where needed but also able to fully own and drive delivery engagement initiatives;
  • Good communicator, very good English skills, good presentation skills, experience working with senior stakeholders;
  • Organized, positive and proactive can-do attitude, able to get things done, focus on continuous improvement;
  • People manager / people skills, coaching & mentoring.
