Job description :

  • Highly focused on customer service
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and high degree of individual engagement as well as the capability for structured problem analysis, problem solving and implementation
  • Assure the required IT infrastructure and services for the business :
  • o Servers administration (Windows OS based servers)

    o Microsoft Exchange mailing server administration

    o Network administration and configuration of Network equipment’s (HP, Cisco, AVAYA)

    o Servers and PC Hardware & Software maintenance

    o Help desk for plant users

    o Maintained all network file system (NFS) mounts

    o Educated traders on new systems and applications

    o Debugged operating system problems

    o Configured all servers and workstations / PCs according to system requirements

    o Interfaced and monitored the network domain servers

    o Monitored network traffic and adjusted system parameters to increase system performance

    o Supervised a rotation of computer operators in a multi-platform environment

    o Interfaced local area network to the higher level of Stabilus organization

    o Responsibilities included network administration and support of a Windows LAN / WAN environment

    o Coordinated installation of Windows systems

    o Performed network development and evaluation on various software applications for Windows based applications

    o Ensured integrity of all network data through backups and scheduled systems maintenance

    o Ensured compliance to established procedures with regard to operational and application documentation

    o Installed all system applications (Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting)

    o Maintained user profiles and security standards

    o Upgraded server / workstations / PCs software and hardware

    o Responsible for the IT security

    o Understand and have the knowledge on current and new IT technologies which may be deployed within the Stabilus companies.

    This include keeping up to date with new technologies once they become available

    o Manage issues on Engineering dedicated applications & collaboration with the other parts

    o Develop and maintain IT Procedures and work instruction

    o Avaya Phone System

    o VMware vSphere Basic Configuration

    o VMware vSphere Server and Host Management

    o Customer support and 2nd level support when required

    o Properly document and track the details of the problem, analyze both status and resolution within the help desk ticket tracking application

    o Daily basis IT running business / project and reporting

    o Standardization and documentation of the IT processes / procedures

    o PBX activities and troubleshooting

    o Suppliers / customers collaboration when required

    o Proactively support for all the tasks assigned to the IT department

  • Readiness for flexible working times (possibly on weekends respectively on-call duty)
  • Actively participate in a team environment
  • Maintain up to date of the IT documentation / reports
  • Readiness to travel to Germany occasionally
  • Requirements :

  • Qualified IT specialist or comparable corresponding education
  • Experience in a comparable field of activity in a similar environment
  • Broad and established knowledge / experience in the fields of :
  • o Client operating systems Win XP / 7

    o Server 2008 / AD / DHCP / DNS

    o Comprehensive network knowledge (LAN, WAN, TCP IP, VoIP)

    o IT Project handling

  • Very well organized and structured
  • Analytic and open minded
  • Willing to work in a challenging environment
  • Able to work under stress and pressure situation
  • Fluent in speaking / writing English (compulsory), German would be advantageous
