Structured finance Direction in cooperation with the commercial teams is providing financial solutions for real estate professionals.

Job description

  • Contribute to origination of specific transactions in cooperation with the relationship managers, as part of the local or international mandates;
  • prepare and deliver pitches to the clients / potential clients;
  • Communicate and promote internally (both at local level and group level, if the case) the different business opportunities identified;
  • Structure transactions, draft tailor made term sheets and actively participate in the negotiations of them with the client / potential client;
  • Engage on meetings with the clients together with the coverage team or deal team members and propose a proper financing structure addressing the client’s needs;
  • Prepare / contribute / act as integrator to credit proposals comprising comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessment of the contemplated transaction, financial modeling and due dilligencies;
  • Promote / contribute to the approval process for the retained transaction;
  • Draft reviews, waivers, amendments to concluded transactions;
  • Coordinate / cooperate with different transversal entities of the bank (Finance, Legal, Treasury, etc.) and different business lines of Societe Generale Group;
  • Actively being involved in the negotiation and executions of the deals, as leader of the team / part of the deal team;
  • Follow up the concluded transactions and keep up to date reports and statistics about the market and bank’s position on different segments of it;
  • Contribute to the product development, drafting of internal norms and procedures and different reports, papers referring to the strategic actions on a specific sector or type of transaction;
  • Job requirements :

  • University degree in Finance and Economics (RICS certification though not required would be a plus);
  • Min 3 years experience in real estate financing, consultancy (M&A, debt advisory);
  • Very good background in banking, financial modeling, risk assessment and management, client relationship;
  • Very good communication skills, presentation skills, analytical and results oriented thinking, adaptability, execution speed;
  • Capacity to analyze and synthesize, skills for structuring complex operations, negotiation skills, organizing skills, time management.
  • Knowledge of a foreign language English / French;
  • IT knowledge : Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
